The fundamental problem of the Utilities sector is given by the amount of information of the different phases that are part of the supply process, from its acquisition to the telematic control, through its treatment and distribution. Increasingly scarce and valuable resources are placing increasing importance on the implementation of measures and technologies that contribute to greater efficiency in the energy supply processes, encouraging the adaptation to new objectives compatible with sustainable development and avoiding conflicts over the use of these resources. Our Business Intelligence applications allow the integration of heterogeneous information from the different activities throughout the cycle and to obtain a complete and coherent analysis, as well as monitoring the results of initiatives and anticipating the levels of demand with a high degree of accuracy.
In addition to this analysis, we propose the generation of reporting, developing applications for consumers and analysts of live information. However, there are also users without analytical capacity who need to know the data of these reports, personnel of the organization that needs to see the result and therefore must receive the information already analyzed, or third parties such as city councils or clients. EDISA B.I. offers the possibility of performing this information dissemination in an automated way thanks to our static reporting applications.
With Qlik, integrated scorecards are developed based on information from all types of sources and archives, both analytical and accounting, or from each of the activities and functional areas of the organizations (maintenance, procurement, financial, etc.) examining which are the indicators that will measure the activity. Above them, objectives are set and they are followed in periods of time to see their evolution, and if any indicator fails, the tools can go deeper and see the cause.
