MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing LIBRA ERP

Manufacturing module supports the management of the entire production flow of the company: definition of the production structure, production scheduling, planning of material needs, launching and control of manufacturing orders, monitoring of production indicators (costs and others).

The benefits for the company are multiple: better adaptation between demand and capacity, improvement of delivery times, decrease in stocks, synchronization with the supply chain, cost reduction, optimization of available resources, and improvement of information on the production, which is key for decision making.

Module is adapted to serial manufacturing companies, against stock, on request (Just in Time) or project-oriented. Fully integrated with the LIBRA modules of Purchasing Management, Logistics Management and Sales Management, allowing the management of the entire value chain of the company.

Main features of the manufacturing module:

  • Definition of the entire production structure of the company (plants, analytical sections, loading sections, machines, tools, operators, operations, methods of operation, material structure, manufacturing routes, etc.).
  • Custom definition of the working calendar of each plant, section, machine and operators.
  • Generation of Master Production Scheduling plans based on the actual order book or simulations of sales plans, allowing the medium / long term dimensioning of resources and productive investments, as well as negotiation in advance of supply contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Production planning (Manufacturing Plans), allow users to optimize the sequence of work to be done by each resource, the stocks to be kept in the warehouses, the changes to be made on machinery, as well as the use of tools and manual labor.
  • Calculation of material requirements and other resources (Material Requirements Planning) to cope with Manufacturing Plans.
  • Automatic or manual generation of planned and / or firm production orders, as well as material purchase requisitions.
  • Control documents for the factory (waybills and lists of materials to be ordered in store and work parts).
  • Programming the machine load.
  • Recording of the corresponding production parts (material vouchers, work parts) with the consequent generation of material movements in warehouses and movements in the production portfolio.
  • Automatic calculation of actual manufacturing costs, taking into account direct costs (raw materials, auxiliary materials, labor, machines, etc.) and allowing templates to be created for the calculation of indirect costs.
  • Management of manufacturing subcontracting (outsourcing).
  • Capture of manufacturing data in plant with fixed terminals and / or tactile radiofrequency terminals. Monitoring of productive plants.
  • Evaluation of manufacturing incidents motivated by operators (absences, casualties, etc.), machines (repair, cleaning, etc.) or other circumstances (lack of materials, electricity, etc.).
  • Traceability both upstream (batches of raw material to finished product) and downstream (batches of finished product towards batches of raw material).
  • Complete repository of reports, among which are indicated, for example, those that allow the control of the workload of each resource (plant, section, machine, etc.), status reports of each production order, material availability reports, production reports per machine, reports of expected and actual manufacturing costs, etc.
